About Us

Skyway Safe Access Equipment Limited (Skyway) was formed in January 2000 and is a 100% Irish owned company.

Since 2000 Skyway has grown and is now recognised as Ireland's number one company in safety at height equipment. The company now employ over twenty staff with a deliberate mix of skills and backgrounds from mechanical engineering, quality assurance, marketing, adult education and design. This melting pot of skills and knowledge has resulted in Skyway's solid position in the Irish market providing consultation, design, manufacture, installation, recertification and training for all safety at height needs. Skyway provides innovative solutions, systems and equipment to allow people to work safely at heights and prevent them falling from a height.

Examples of these systems include:

  • Guardrail systems which allow all personnel to walk on the roof without having to wear a harness system
  • Cable systems which allow workers a safe way to access difficult areas such as gutters or plants while wearing a harness
  • A roof mounted cradle system or abseiling systems which allow workers safe access to the outside of the building to clean windows or carry out maintenance work

Some of our recently completed projects include The Aviva Stadium in Lansdowne Road, New Criminal Courts, National Conference Centre and T2 at Dublin Airport.

Skyway also has a well established facilities services division (Skyway Facilities Services) which provides annual maintenance and recertification on all safety at height systems including training and supply of harness, lanyards and specialised safety equipment. Our Facilities Services clients include Carillion, Wyse Property Management, University College Cork, St Vincent's Private Hospital, UCD, Trinity College to name but a few!
